Ariadna Ruiz is an award-winning filmmaker, visual journalist, and activist.
ruiz film is her in-progress portfolio of published and unpublished work.
Ariadna was born in the tiny mountain country of Andorra to a Catalan father and Danish-Spanish mother. She moved to the United States at a young age and has been shaped by her multicultural upbringing.
Her work explores present socio-ecological challenges, observing what it means to be human in the modern era—from the beautiful to the destructive. In a media landscape overwhelmed by division and dehumanization, she invites viewers to think critically yet empathetically about the topics that divide us most. Ultimately, Ariadna is a storyteller who hopes to inspire her audience towards social and environmental transformation.
